Antifa in Hungary & Budapest
In September 2025 Hungary designated Antifa a terrorist organization and urged the European Union to do the same. This was shortly after the violent far left in America murdered Charlie Kirk. Alternative for Germany (AFD) also attempted to pass the same resolution designating Antifa as a terrorist organization in 2023.
Also in 2023, Antifa led by a transgender known as Maja T., carried out multiple attacks in Budapest and injured nine people, causing skeletal fractures and head injuries. Maja T. was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
Ilaria Salis, the Italian member of the same group, as she was in detention, was elected a Member of the European Parliament for the far-left Green Party’s Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra party, which gave her immunity from prosecution, so she had to be released for a lucrative career in politics instead of facing justice.

Student Death Puts French Far-Left Under Pressure

France’s far left antifa killed a 23 year old catholic math student named Quentin Deranque in Lyon, France who was reported to do charitable work in his community. He supported and tried to protect a feminist collective group named Nemesis (an anti-immigration group fighting violence against Western women in France). A group of six antifa members formed a mob, and cowardlessly cornered him, then kicked, punched and beat him to death causing fatal damage to his skull and brain. Two other women feminist members he was trying to protect were also attacked and injured by Antifa. Euro-deputy Marion Maréchal - niece of National Rally leader Marine Le Pen - said: "The militia of Antifa (Hard left LFI: La France Insoumise leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon) has killed and has blood on its hands." According to Laurent Wauquiez, parliamentary leader: "Quentin fell beneath the blows of monsters guided by hate and blinded by violence." The French government blamed the hard left for their climate of violence.
